Theater - nothing but theater! Everything at the Theaterhotel & Suites revolves around this theme that has grown out of history. You will become aware of this at the latest when you check in at the theater box office. Each of our rooms is dedicated to an actor, director or theatrical artist. Our "Superior Rooms" also have theater mirrors, stage door lamps, glass partitions with original motifs of the "Theater in der Josefstadt" and much more.
Our unique boutique hotel reflects the fascinating blend of tradition and modernity like no other hotel in the city. We demonstrate that a historic building dating back to 1860 can be equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as high-speed WiFi and the option of digital pre-check-in.
Our public areas, newly designed in 2021, offer you every comfort. Whether in the inviting breakfast room, the new fitness room, the red billiard room, or our cozy lounge—with us, you can start your day off right and be pampered in every way. An exquisite glass of wine and our local specialties are a must, of course. The 54 rooms and suites have an average size of 35 square meters. You can choose whether you would like to stay in our cozy, traditional "CLASSIC rooms" or in the luxurious "SUPERIOR ROOMS," which were redesigned in 2021.

Probably the most extraordinary fitness room in Vienna is equipped with exclusive equipment from NOHRD. In addition to the well-known Water-Rower, a treadmill, a cardiobike, a wall bars, a multifunctional tower and much more are available from 6:00 to 22:00. All NOHRD products are made with wood from renewable resources in Germany - ours from solid oak. In addition, you can enjoy an infusion in our sauna daily from 17:00-22:00.
THEATRE LOUNGE & RED SALON
After an eventful day in Vienna - perhaps including a visit to the theater - let the evening come to an end in our "Theater Lounge". Selected wines, craft beers, gin specialties from Vienna and other refreshments are waiting to be discovered by you. Or do you still feel like a game of billiards?
